Job Summary: As a Country Sales Representative for Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Burundi and Congo, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales strategy and ensuring that our products reach our customers effectively. You will work within a small, dynamic team and report directly to the Regional Sales Manager. This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance your work and personal life while contributing to our mission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate sales activities for manufactured products and services for Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Sudan, Burundi and Congo
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee performance and activities of regional and local sales managers.
- Monitor customer preferences and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage sales and service accounting, record-keeping, and logistics.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Post-secondary Diploma in related fields.
- Experience: 1-2 years in sales or related field.
- Skills: Active Listening, Critical Thinking, Coordination, Monitoring, and Judgment.
- Knowledge: Proficient in Sales and Marketing, Administration and Management, Education and Training, and Communications.
- Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and sales and marketing software.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Luganda and Swahili.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing operational records and reports.
- Ability to determine pricing schedules and budget expenditures.
- Knowledge of marketing potential assessments for store locations.
- Skills in Active Learning and Time Management.
- Understanding of Mathematics and Personnel Management.
