About Organisation:
Klan Logistics is an enabler of end-to-end supply chain solutions, specializing in haulage, storage, and handling of import/export cargo, as well as trucking, distribution and last mile fulfilment of domestic consignments.
Job Summary: To provide technical leadership and guidance on infrastructure, electrical systems, and electrical stock handling ensuring safety, optimization and alignment with supply chain needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, design and oversee implementation and maintenance of engineering projects and electrical systems
- Provide technical advice on handling, storage and safety of electrical stock
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to support infrastructure needs
- Lead engineering risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures
- Ensure compliance with engineering, environmental, and safety standards
- Liaise cross-functionally with supply chain, procurement, and operations
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- BSc in Electrical Engineering (Master’s an added advantage)
- Minimum 8 years of engineering leadership, with at least 3 years in supply chain operations
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in a logistics or manufacturing environment
- Strong project management, problem solving and leadership skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
