Job Summary: A mixing team leader is responsible for overseeing the process of combining raw materials to create biscuit products ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. He leads a team of mixing operators, manages the mixing process, and maintains a safe and hygienic work environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and motivating a team of production operators within the mixing area.
  • Ensuring all mixing procedures are followed accurately, including measuring and combining ingredients.
  • Verifying that manufactured components meet quality standards and production targets.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of mixing equipment.
  • Monitoring consumable inventory levels and potentially assisting with ordering and inventory accuracy.
  • Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the mixing process, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Maintaining accurate records of temperature, time, and other relevant data.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:




  • Diploma, in Food science and processing Tech, or similar.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to operate and work with mechanical and electrical machinery.
  • Knowledge of biscuit production processes, machinery, and equipment.
  • Understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Previous experience working in a related industry preferred.
  • Availability of working extended hours to meet deadlines, when necessary.
