Job Summary: Our client, a leading company in the cosmetics and dermatology sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader – Sales Representative to manage and lead a team of sales professionals across Uganda. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in selling cosmetic and dermatological products and a proven track record in sales leadership and team management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Sales Representatives to achieve individual and group sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow the company’s presence in the dermatology and cosmetic product market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including dermatologists, pharmacists, clinics, and beauty retailers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, sales meetings, and field visits with the sales team.
- Train team members on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies and stay ahead in the market.
- Collaborate with marketing and management teams to support product promotions, launches, and campaigns.
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market insights.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines in all sales activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, specifically within the cosmetics or dermatology industry.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team.
- Strong knowledge of skincare and dermatological product lines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop strategic sales plans and drive execution.
