Job Title: Project Coordinator Intern (No Experience Jobs)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing project work plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Support implementation of community based vulnerable group activities, resource management, and sustainable activities.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with donor and organizational requirements.
  • Engage stakeholders and build partnerships with government, NGOs, and local communities.
  • Contribute to data collection, documentation of lessons learned, and knowledge sharing.
  • Act as primary link between the assigned target communities and Maama Yaka in the project target locations.
  • Responsible for close working with community authorities to select target communities activities in accordance with pre-agreed Maama Yaka selection criteria and process.
  • Facilitate community dialogue processes in target communities and ensure the representation and participation of all socio-economic groups in the community.
  • Ensure timely and quality reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Document best practices and lessons learned.
  • Contribute to project reports and documentation of success stories and lessons learned.
  • Compile the required monitoring forms and reports using the prescribed Maama Yaka formats and submit reports to your assigned supervisor regularly on assigned dates.
  • Working closely with the Maama Yaka team and ensure compliance with MEAL plans.
  • Assist in impact assessments and post-intervention monitoring.
  • Take good care of all assigned equipment, including computers and communication equipment.
  • Follow all Maama Yaka Procedures for security, finance, logistics, HR and administration.
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent level of written and spoken English, luganda is an added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of MS Office Suite Package;
  • Able to work autonomously within the delegated limits of action in order to timely address urgent issues to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless execution of project activities;
  • Teamwork oriented;
  • Time management and problem-solving skills;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion;
  • Punctuality, reliability.
