About Organisation:
The Mukwano Group of Companies is the leading manufacturer of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in the Great Lakes region, producing a wide range of market leader brands in soaps, edible cooking oils and fats, detergents, beverages, personal care products and plastics.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collecting import documents from procurement and scan them appropriately
- Maintain manual registers and forward entries to finance.
- Write and file correspondences.
- Reconcile online import register & maintain online outbound register.
- Data Entry in SAP for: imported items (creating STOs, out bound delivery), Making GRN etc.
- Following up with the closure of nonconformances.
- Work hand in hand with line departments to transport raw materials and finished goods.
- Prepare daily / weekly activity reports for submission to the General Manager- Operations / other departments.
- Assist in tracking consignments of imported items from the time the order is placed up to final delivery.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- One year working experience in a similar role in a similar busy environment.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is an added advantage, with demonstrated experience in using the system for supply chain, procurement, or inventory management functions.

- Customer service orientation skills.
- Considerable ability to adhere to prescribed routines and practices; and compose effective and accurate correspondence.
- Dealing with non-routine matters, such as special projects, with minimum specific instructions. Decision making skills is required.
