About Organisation:

Abudiwe group of Companies Limited (AGCL) is a limited liability company incorporated in 2019 in Uganda. The Company was established to create solutions for low-income communities, conserve the environment for future generations, and support the most vulnerable in the community. AGCL is currently involved in Construction of shallow wells and rainwater harvesting systems, water treatment, water quality monitoring, design and construction of water distribution networks and distribution of water quality testing and treatment equipment and supplies.

Job Summary: The Marketing and Sales Associate will support the execution of marketing campaigns and drive sales initiatives focused on increasing product uptake in underserved communities. She will work closely with the sales and marketing team to build awareness, promote solutions, and foster customer loyalty.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing marketing and sales strategies tailored for low-income markets.
  • Identify prospective customers, conduct outreach, and support the sales funnel.
  • Organize and participate in product launches, demonstrations, and community activation events.
  • Develop and distribute marketing materials across digital and traditional channels.
  • Support partnerships with NGOs, community leaders, and local government for advocacy and visibility.
  • Monitor market trends, gather customer feedback, and contribute to product and message refinement.
  • Maintain records of leads, sales performance, and campaign effectiveness.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in a marketing or sales-related role, preferably in social enterprise or development sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for improving lives through inclusive and impactful solutions.
  • Comfort with working in the field and engaging with diverse community groups.
