Mildmay Uganda is an indigenous Christian NGO that offers General and HIV/AIDS medical services also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services.
Job Summary: To support provide high-quality diagnostic laboratory services at Mildmay Hospital Uganda in support of patient care, training, and research. The role ensures accurate and reliable test results, builds capacity, contributes to research, and promotes efficient resource management in line with set standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Laboratory Services
- Training and Capacity Building
- Research and Scientific Contribution
- Team Collaboration and Service Integration
- Planning and Resource Management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences
- Valid Registration and Licence with Allied Health Professional Council.
Job related experience and knowledge:
- 3-years’ experience in a busy Hospital/Lab
- Training or experience in ISO 15189, GCLP implementation
- Training in Laboratory Quality Management
