Job Summary: The company seeks a technically skilled Infrastructure Assistant to optimize their infrastructure, particularly those integrated with SAP Business One.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage internal/client IT infrastructure (on-prem & cloud)
- Troubleshoot and configure network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN)
- Manage physical/virtual servers
- Monitor and secure system performance
- Assist with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Hetzner)
- Implement backup/disaster recovery solutions
- Plan/deploy infrastructure upgrades
- Support ERP infrastructure deployments
- Provide internal/client tech support
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation
- Collaborate across teams on digital transformation
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in networking/server management
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls)
- Proficiency with Linux & Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Hyper-V
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Hetzner)
- Troubleshooting experience in on-prem and cloud systems
- ERP system support (SAP B1, Business Essentials, Odoo, ERPNext) is a plus
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Independent work ethic and multitasking ability
- Bonus: scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and database skills (SQL Server)
