Job Summary: As an Impact Monitoring Supervisor (IMS), you will lead field teams to ensure high-quality, ethical data collection across Uganda. You’ll manage Impact Monitoring Officers, coordinate field logistics, oversee both qualitative and quantitative research activities, and ensure all data meets rigorous quality standards. Your leadership will be key to driving efficient field operations and delivering actionable insights.

This is a fixed-term contract role for a period of one (1) year, renewable based on individual performance and project needs.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising IMOs by reviewing the work conducted by IPOs and supporting them in planning their tasks to ensure efficient data collection. Ensuring data quality assurance for both quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, and FGDs is a key aspect of the role.
- Conducting key informant and in-depth interviews, as well as facilitating focus group discussions (FGDs) with key populations according to the established protocol.
- Timely review of FGDs transcripts and interviews for accuracy, managing data files, and ensuring proper transcription and cleaning of interviews.
- Assisting in the preparation of periodic field reports and data collection activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Statistics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in supervising field data collection teams including M&E activities in development programs, in both rural and urban settings.
- Demonstrated experience conducting and overseeing qualitative research activities, including KIIs, IDIs, and FGDs.
- Fluent in English and local dialect for respective regions.

- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using laptops, tablets, and GPS recording.
- Proficiency in digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK, SurveyCTO, CommCare) is an added advantage.
