Pura, which was incorporated in 2011, is located in Nakasongola District, Central Uganda. Pura Organic Agro Tech Ltd is a fast-growing, integrated company focused on sustainable cassava farming and the production of high-quality cassava starch and flour.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and support our ambitious growth trajectory.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensuring robust financial reporting and compliance with IFRS and Ugandan regulations.
- Strategic cash flow and treasury management.
- Providing insightful financial analysis to guide business decisions for both farm and factory operations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting (Master’s a plus).
- Mandatory CPA (U) or ACCA qualification.
- 5-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in either the agricultural/agribusiness or manufacturing sectors is ideal.
- Strong analytical skills, integrity, and leadership abilities.
