Job Summary: The Sales and Marketing Lead is responsible for overseeing the introduction of an innovative product to the Ugandan market, securing strong distribution channels, building key retail partnerships, and driving sales momentum.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead & Acquire Key Retail Partners: Secure new distribution agreements with supermarkets and petrol stations.
- Drive Sales & Achieve Targets: Lead sales cycle and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Build & Nurture Partner Relationships: Establish strong relationships with decision-makers.
- Execute Go-to-Market Strategy & Promotions: Develop and execute in-store promotions.
- Provide Market & Sales Insights: Monitor market trends and sales performance.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in FMCG or retail sector.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and account management.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
