Job Title: Accountant

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial & Tax Compliance
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with Uganda’s tax laws (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Corporate Tax) and timely filings with URA.
- Manage inventory and stock records, reconciling physical stock with financial records.
- Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 Years of work experience.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Knowledge of Uganda tax systems and accounting software (QuickBooks, zoho)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
