Job Title: Technical Service Advisor

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
About the Company:
Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited (UEDCL) is a limited liability company incorporated in Uganda under the Companies Act. UEDCL owns the 33KV and below voltage electricity distribution networks and all the operational assets associated with the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing technical assistance with equipment operations, setting equipment parameters.
- Data collection, collation and manipulation through available IT systems
- Manages and maintains archive of company data, including ensuring that backups are created, maintenance of archive database, storage and retrieval of physical media for recent show archives
- Review vendor & stock paper work patterns to ensure compliance.
- Perform records entries as assigned and periodic reports
- Any other duties as required as commensurate to the post
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role
- Diploma in Electrical is a MUST.
- Key Skills and Competences:
- Proficiency with basic computer programs including MS Office, database systems & familiar working electrical equipment .
- Highly motivated, strategic thinker with a strong record of achievement
- Ability to work under strict supervision and work under high-pressure.
- Good time-management skills
- Excellent Communication skills and the ability to work closely with team members
