About the Company:
World Trumpet Mission (WTM) was founded in 1988 by John W. Mulinde after a supernatural encounter with the Lord. It was then that he was formally commissioned to go to the nations of the world and “blow the trumpet” of the day of the Lord, warning people that the hour is late, the schemes of darkness are real, the Great Commission is yet unfinished, and the Church is not ready for the second appearance of the Master. He was commissioned by the Lord to call all God’s people to find their rightful place in the army of the Lord, (Joel 2) and to maximize their individual potential in serving Kingdom purposes in these last days, as we all seek to complete the discipling of all nations to our God.
Job Summary: To develop and execute social media strategies that enhance the organization’s digital presence, engagement, and brand positioning.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective social media marketing campaigns.
- Manage and grow social media accounts across various platforms.
- Create, schedule, and monitor engaging content.
- Analyze engagement metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.
- Respond to audience interactions and foster community engagement.
- Collaborate with the content and production teams for high-quality social media output.
- Keep up-to-date with social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Professional certification in social media marketing is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in social media management, marketing, or related role
- Experience in content creation and social media analytics.
Competencies:
- Strong creativity and storytelling abilities.
- Excellent communication and community engagement skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple platforms.
Business & Operational Competencies
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hoot suite, Buffer).
- Strong analytical skills to track and improve engagement.
- Understanding of digital advertising and influencer marketing.
