Job Title: Senior Service Supervisor

About the Company:
Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an industrial catering company specializing in the aviation sector (restaurants serving the airline and VIP flights and ground with signs Caffé Lindo, E-Café Sky Café), and in the rail, marine, communities (embassies, schools, private companies, hospitals), also associated services including aerial specialist managed services “in flight” (Inflight), the sales on board (Buy-on-board), the Off- taxes (duty free)) and remote support (remote sites).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the department, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental goals, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations to foster professional growth.
- Facilitate communication between departmental teams and other departments to ensure collaboration and alignment with company objectives.
- Manage conflict resolution within the team, addressing issues promptly and mediating disputes to maintain a positive work environment.
- Lead recruitment efforts for the department, including interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.
- Implement and monitor compliance with company policies and industry regulations to ensure a safe and legal working environment.
- Organize and oversee department-specific projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Will be tasked with overseeing the daily operations of their team while ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- This position requires a blend of leadership skills and operational knowledge, as it involves guiding team members, managing resources, and coordinating with other departments to meet company goals.
- Background experience in hospital service supervision.
- Need to have background in a hospital environment experience
- At least 5 years of experience (Senior level)
- Bachelor degree
