About Organisation:
Uganda Free Zones and Export Promotions Authority (UFZEPA) is a Statutory Government Agency established by the Free Zones (Amendment) Act 30 of 2024, and is responsible for the establishment, development, management, marketing, maintenance, supervision and control of Free Zones; the development, promotion and coordination of all export-related activities; and to provide for related matters.
Job Summary: Designing and implementing Monitoring and Evaluation Systems in the Authority
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating, Monitoring and evaluating the Research and Development system in the Authority;
- To ensure preparation and implementation of annual work plans, programmes and budgets for the Authority;
- Design and implement a comprehensive M&E system, including data collection methods, reporting formats, and data analysis tools;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to project progress and outcomes, using various methods and techniques;
- Prepare regular reports on project progress, identify challenges, and communicate findings to stakeholder; and
- Conduct evaluations to assess project effectiveness, impact, and sustainability, providing recommendations for improvement
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelors’ degree or equivalent in a field relevant to M&E, such as public health, demography, statistics, economics, research methods, or public policy.
Work Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ working experience in the relevant field in a reputable Institution.
