Job Summary: The Senior Manager—Enterprise Solutions—will lead the sales and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions, including broadcast engineering, IT solutions, outside broadcast (OB) solutions, RF solutions, and mast solutions. This role requires a strategic leader with deep technical knowledge, exceptional sales acumen, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Broadcast Engineering
- In-depth understanding of broadcast systems, including studio production, transmission, and signal processing.
- The candidate should have familiarity with modern broadcast technologies, such as IP-based workflows, 4K/8K broadcasting, and ATSC 3.0.
- Have a thorough understanding of broadcast equipment, including encoders, decoders, multiplexers, and playout systems.
IT Solutions
- Expertise in enterprise IT infrastructure, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and network architecture.
- Understanding of IT integration with broadcast systems (e.g., media asset management, content delivery networks).
- Familiarity with software solutions like ERP, CRM, and bespoke IT systems for media enterprises.
Outside Broadcast (OB) Solutions
- Knowledge of OB production workflows, including mobile production units, satellite uplinks, and live event streaming.
- Understanding of OB equipment (e.g., cameras, switchers, audio consoles) and logistics for remote production.
RF and Mast Solutions
- Expertise in RF engineering, including antenna design, spectrum management, and signal propagation.
- Knowledge of mast infrastructure, including structural engineering, installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, ITU) for RF and telecommunications.
Industry Trends and Standards
- Awareness of emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, AI in media, virtualized production).
- Understanding of compliance and industry standards (e.g., SMPTE, ISO, GDPR for IT solutions).
Sales and Market Dynamics
- Knowledge of B2B sales processes, enterprise client needs, and market trends in media and telecommunications.
- Familiarity with pricing models, contract negotiation, and solution-based selling.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, business, or a related field is required. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 8-10 years in sales, business development, or technical management in broadcast, IT, or telecommunications is required.
- Proven track record of selling enterprise solutions to large organizations.
- At least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing teams and complex projects.
- Certifications (preferred): PMP, ITIL, CCNA, or industry-specific certifications in broadcast or RF engineering.
