Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Distribution Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will drive sustainable revenue growth by leading the development execution of sales strategies, establishing and optimizing distribution networks for water pumps, solar equipment, generators and irrigation equipment. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal skills, deep market knowledge, solid experience in distribution sales, and agility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and distribution strategies to achieve or exceed company targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand our market reach in water pumping, irrigation, and solar markets.
- Manage and lead the sales team to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Establish and optimize distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and customers.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns that enhance brand awareness.
- Monitor inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all sales and distribution activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, monitor sales performance and analyse market trends.
- Prepare and present sales and distribution reports to management.
- Monitor distributor performance and provide training, support, and motivation.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and distribution management
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans.
- Proficiency in using sales management software and tools.
