Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of experiential marketing campaigns and brand activations. The role will also involve client- facing responsibilities, including presenting strategies, managing client expectations, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead end-to-end project management of experiential marketing campaigns, trade activations, and brand events.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and financial constraints.
- Coordinate with internal teams (creative, logistics, field staff) and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide reports on campaign performance.
Client-Facing Duties:
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their objectives and translating them into actionable plans.
- Present campaign strategies, proposals, and reports to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Manage client expectations, address concerns, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and collaborate with the business development team.
Operational & Strategic:
- Ensure all projects align with Swivel Marketing’s standards and client brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and innovative marketing techniques.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years in project management, preferably in experiential marketing, events, or brand activations.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles (account management, presentations, stakeholder engagement).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Click Up, Google Work Space, Microsoft Project).
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking with a passion for marketing innovation.
Preferred (Bonus Skills):
- Experience in trade marketing or retail activations.
- Knowledge of the Ugandan market and consumer behavior.
- Familiarity with budget management and financial reporting.
