Job Summary:   Mkazipreneur is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the overall implementation and coordination of a project, oversee planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes for women entrepreneurs.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership across project components.
  • Monitor and supervise the activities of the project
  • Develop and manage detailed implementation plans.
  • Supervise and support project staff, support staff, trainers and mentors
  • Manage project budget, timelines and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with partners to ensure alignment of deliverables, timelines and compliance.
  • Review and present regular progress reports.
  • Suggest revisions to program goals and objectives to meet the changing needs of project participants.
  • Oversea daily operations of a project and determine priorities in regards to Business Development Support activities.
  • Document and maintain records of support offered to entrepreneurs. This includes but is not limited to one-on-one sessions, mentorship sessions etc.
  • (Attendance sheet, meeting notes and action trackers)
  • Comply with policies and procedures governing the project and ensure that the project is operating at maximum efficiency.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the project initiatives and develop new methods aimed at greater success (Lessons learnt document tracker)
  • Develop sprint plans / roadmap on how to achieve quarterly goals of the project
  • Prepare detailed weekly timesheets as per the project template.
  • Facilitate educational workshops, meetings and conferences associated with the project.
  • Interact with members of the community to help achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Entrepreneurship or related field.
  • At least 7 years of project management experience in a development or entrepreneurship environment.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
