Job Summary: The Yard Support plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the branch. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate stock inventory, ensuring the yard is organized and providing direct support for repossession (repo) sales. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and a team player capable of working in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all incoming and outgoing units, ensuring accurate documentation and proper placement.
- Perform routine audits to verify unit count, condition, and readiness for staging or sale.
- Maintain an up-to-date and organized stock system, including physical checks and digital records.
- Conduct regular audits to verify asset condition and count
- Keep the yard clean, safe, and well-organized to optimize space and efficiency.
- Coordinate the staging and presentation of repossessed units for sale.
- Work collaboratively with the sales, recovery, and operations teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date representation of all assets.
- Provide excellent customer service aligned with branch standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- High school Diploma, Degree or an equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in yard operations, inventory control, or a similar field is an asset.
- Basic computer skills, familiarity with inventory or stock management software is a plus.
- Represents the branch professionally during repo sales or visitor interactions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, or extended hours during busy sales periods.
- Ability to coordinate with other departments
- Keeps the yard clean, orderly, and optimized for space and access.
- Understands basic data entry and tracking tools.
