Job Title: Facility & Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: The Facility & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the University facilities, ensuring their safety and functionality across various systems, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC, to provide a conducive environment for The Aga Khan University, Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair
- Work Order Management
- Equipment and Facility Management
- Emergency Response
- Minimum downtime on Machinery & Equipment
- Achieve declining complaints from end users
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of Vocational training or certification in Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a University or complex projects.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
