Over the years the company has expanded operations to include processed chicken and further processed products. The company started its operations in 1984. The company’s Head Office is in Exsan House along Enterprise road. Kenchic is proud to be the largest integrated poultry operation in East and Central Africa and deals in day-old chicks, processed chicken meat and further processed products such as smoked sausages, choma sausages & sausages.
Job Summary: As the Dispatch Supervisor, you will be tasked with the responsibility to over-see all operations at the Dispatch Area
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Ensure that accurate and complete accounting, reporting and internal control systems are
- Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to receiving production (FIFO orientation.)
- Produce regular stocks reports and daily stocks sheets as required
- Prepare loading plans and ensure that standard waybills are duly complete.
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity/ efficiency targets are achieved.
- Ensure proper orientation of dispatch staff, Identify, plan and implement requisite trainings to ensure continued development of all team members.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Any relevant diploma from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment.
- Experience in a poultry processing plant is an added advantage
