Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Digital Marketing Coordinator to lead and execute our digital marketing strategy across the African continent. This is a high-impact role that combines strategy, creativity, and analytics to build a powerful digital presence for ETG. The ideal candidate will be a visionary thinker and hands-on executor, capable of leading cross-cultural teams and delivering measurable digital impact in alignment with ETG’s mission.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a unified digital marketing strategy across 20+ African countries (e.g., Kenya, Zambia, Ghana, Tanzania).
- Align campaigns with ETG’s mission to empower farmers and grow sustainable agri-business.
- Integrate the latest digital trends, tools, and technologies, including AI, automation, and agri-tech innovations.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end digital marketing campaigns (SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, mobile apps, display advertising).
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
- Create and manage engaging content for social media, email, and blog.
- Analyze campaign performance using tools like Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
- Optimize SEO and drive traffic to our website and Etsy store. Coordinate with designers for creative needs.
- Explore new marketing trends and strategies
- Maintain brand consistency and optimize customer engagement across all channels.
- Use data analytics and KPIs to monitor performance and optimize marketing spend.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a multi-country digital team (content, design, and analytics).
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Agronomy, and external partners to run integrated campaigns.
- Present digital performance reports and insights to senior leadership.
Budget & Resource Management
- Manage digital budgets to maximize ROI.
- Strategically allocate resources across regions and initiatives.
- Oversee ad management, reporting, and optimization.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: Master’s, Bachelor’s degree, or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience: 5+ years in digital marketing with a proven track record.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Instagram marketing.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis capabilities, particularly in Google Analytics.
- Design Skills: Basic graphic design proficiency (e.g., Canva, Adobe tools).
- Communication: Excellent written communication skills.
- Industry Experience: Background in e-commerce and/or SMS marketing is a plus.
