Job Title: Child Development Officer – Home Based Programming (CDO-HBP)

About US:
Team International is in partnership with Compassion International Uganda to support Children and Youth at its project Kisoira Child aid Youth Development Center located in Kisoira Parish, Migongwe sub-county-Kyegegwa District. It exists to empower children for holistic growth with the main purpose of enabling them to thrive and Become Mature Christians able to influence their context.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports the Church through Discipleship programs.
- Works closely with Survival and Home Based mothers, Babies and Pregnant women.
- Participates in the preparation and implementation of Partner Plans and Budgets for Survival and other homebased Activities
- Participates in the preparation of Program activity
- and financial reports according to guidelines.
- Carries out Home visits and Group activities, as a means of equipping Participants n chid Survival skills and Holistic chid development
- Supports the church n the process of homebased programming monitoring and Evaluation.
- Supports the church in Participants identification, Slots management and transitions.
- Supports the church n clomping of monthly and quarterly SLA reports.
- Supports the church to advocate for survival and Home based beneficiaries.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must be a mature born-again Christian with a sounding testimony and a minister.
- Minimum qualification is Diploma in Nursing: Midwifery, Community Health, Nutrition, clinical medicine. Education and Social work— Courses.
- Must be Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Power Pont plus knowledge of Internet
- A good steward.
- Eighty self-motivated to carry out Home-visits and grow trainings that Swam parents.
- Should have a developmental mindset and ability to design and implement homebased.
- For the marrieds, marriage certificates is a requirement
- Ability to design a stimulating environment for children using locally available sources.
- Experience and knowledge in Early Childhood (ECD), GOBIFFF components. maternal chid health item/eon programs and social will be an added advantage.
- Age: 22-35 years.
