Job Summary: Quality Plastics (U) LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Spares Clerk to receive spares requisitions, delivery notes, carry out stock count, ensure spares are received timely. Maintain all records, issues and current stock of all spares.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To receive spares against requisition, PO & delivery note qty.
- To ensure all spares are received timely & inspected by the user department.
- To update assistant engineering spares controller or engineering spares controller about any spare pending delivery.
- To raise GRN for the received qty & share copy to procurement.
- To ensure timely binning for all inspected spares in their respective bin locations.
- To ensure spares are kept in a hygienic environment.
- Ensure all stock is issued with the necessary approval.
- To avoid OOS by communicating any spare stock below the minimum stock level.
- To raise requisition for any spare below the minimum stock level for replenishment.
- To carry out necessary stock counts as per procedure.
- Ensure accurate records at all time.
- Maintain a record of all deliveries, issues and current stock position of all items.
- Perform any other duties management may consider necessary.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum Experience: Working experience of 2-3 years in a busy Manufacturing Industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of basic Computer applications like MS-Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a team, deliver results as required and in a fast-paced environment with good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge in systems requirement and willingness to learn.
