Job Summary: In charge of warehouses (raw material, packaging, finished goods, external)
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving of raw materials supplied and incoming goods
- Mange EFRIS stock reconciliation with URA
- Incoming goods inspection regarding quantity, specification, condition etc.
- Categorization and storing of goods in the appropriate locations
- To take appropriate action for care and preservation of the stock items.
- Monthly stock verification, stock counting and ensure correctness of stock at all times.
- Maintaining of neatness and tidiness of all store’s locations.
- Issuance of materials to the departments as per approved user requisitions.
- Passing of good received notes, purchase invoices and other paperwork received from vendor and send this to accounts department for payment.
- Organize disposal of expired stock as per approved procedure.
- To maintain all stores documents up to date.
- Generation of reports and reconciliations for management
- Maintaining re-order level reports and reviewing these with user departments on an ongoing basis.
- Making proposals for stores policy and controls improvements.
- Responsible for overall store security
- Daily reconciliation of material movement between different store areas and production
- Responsible for issuing finished products to sales as per incoming orders
- Operate the forklift and stacker, loading and offloading of Incoming and Dispatch Trucks
- Prepare shipment for dispatch by proper packaging, positioning and all necessary documentations
- Any other duty assigned by the line manager from time to time
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain / Inventory Management/Pharmacy/ chemistry
- Prior experience in a stores/inventory management department
- Must know how to operate a forklift and stacking Machine
- Experience in working in a manufacturing environment will be a distinct advantage
- Hands on experience working with a stores/inventory management software/ERP. Added advantage for those with experience with Microsoft Business Central 365
