Job Summary: SurePay Limited is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Solutions Architect to design, develop, and guide the implementation of robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions that align with our business goals. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of software architecture, systems integration, and modern development practices.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Develop end-to-end architecture for new products, services, and integrations across the SurePay ecosystem.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure alignment with best practices in design, performance, security, and compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with product managers, software engineers, operations teams, and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technology Evaluation & Strategy:
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve system capabilities.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of SurePay’s technology strategy and roadmap.
Governance & Standards:
- Define and enforce architectural standards and development best practices.
- Ensure systems comply with industry regulations and internal governance policies.
Documentation:
- Produce and maintain detailed architectural documentation, diagrams, and integration flows.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a solutions architecture or similar role.
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and system integration.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in enterprise-level software development using modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Attributes:
- Background in fintech, banking, or payment systems.
- Familiarity with security protocols, encryption, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
