True North Consult Ltd is a boutique HR Consultancy Firm that offers bespoke HR solutions to selected clients in various sectors and industries across East Africa, with operational offices in Kampala, Nairobi and Kigali.
Job Summary: The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of the boda logbook loan product, mainly through new client acquisition and up-sale for current clients. This role encompasses planning and executing marketing campaigns, process improvement, development of new client acquisition channels & leading IT developments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing and Communication
- Develop and execute marketing strategy to promote boda logbook loans.
- Oversee all the digital & offline content for various marketing channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Initiate campaigns and/or special offers to boost sales
Developing new business lines & improving current sales process
- Analyze market data to create target segments, identify opportunities to increase boda logbook sales.
- Lead IT projects to improve product presentation & sales funnel.
- Generate new ideas on how to improve branch sales productivity.
Ownership
- Track and analyze KPIs related to product growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Have the growth mindset, do not be afraid to think big, take responsibility & ownership.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing from a recognized University
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing and Sales
- Excellent knowledge of Marketing Operations
- Excellent leadership capability, high level of confidence and ability to establish communication with others.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Demonstrate high level of integrity, work ethics, and a proactive and positive attitude.
- Excellent İnterpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Should be self-motivated & able to demonstrate a drive for results with a professional approach.
- Proven report-writing and presentation skills.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Kampala, Uganda. Occasional travel to branch offices
