The facility is designed with materials and finishes that allow ample natural light thus conserving energy and still maintain high cleanliness standards and minimize maintenance. The entire facility is designed to meet the CGMP requirements.

 

Job Summary:   Responsible for coordinating and assisting with sustainable Procurement initiatives, coordinating procurement, monitoring internal procurement systems, providing procurement advice where applicable and negotiating supply agreement

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Cost control & service delivery

  • Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs.
  • Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the company.
  • Identify and research potential new suppliers.
  • Identify, agree and deliver annual measurable costs and reductions in schemes from procurement activity to assist the company in meeting its overall objectives and targets through the Balance scorecard.

Inventory management

  • Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
  • Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing and distributing goods or services and maintain stock levels

Documentation

  • Oversee the purchasing team section.
  • Coordinate PRs and quotations, and prepare purchase orders.
  • Ensure goods are delivered promptly with proper documents.
  • Update relevant logbooks for local imports and NDA proformas.

Deputizing

  • In the absence of the head of the supply chain, the section will handle the section responsibilities.

 

Authorities

  • Initiate POs for approved materials/services
  • Recommend vendors based on price, quality, compliance, and reliability.
  • Ensure vendors meet regulatory and internal SOP requirements (e.g., GMP, GDP)





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Logistics, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in Procurement/Supply Chain

Training Requirements

  • Good Distribution Practices (GDP) training
  • Basic GMP training
  • Quality Assurance Basics

Competencies

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strategic sourcing & negotiation skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Financial Acumen.
