Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Private Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our establishment and its surroundings. The ideal candidate will have experience in security duties, be vigilant, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. This position requires someone who is dependable, focused, and committed to maintaining a secure environment in a fast-paced setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent unauthorized access.
- Ensure the safety of staff, customers, and property.
- Respond to security alarms, incidents, and emergencies as necessary.
- Perform regular security checks on doors, windows, and other critical areas.
- Report any suspicious activities or potential threats to management.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of security-related activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Must be physically ft and capable of standing for long periods and performing security-related duties.
- Reliable and responsible with a strong sense of integrity.
Location: Candidates must preferably reside within proximity to the offices in the areas of Kamwokya, Kalerwe, Mulago, Wandegeya, Bukoto, or Ntinda.
