Job Summary: The required candidate should be able to Implement delivery and maintenance policies, including but not limited to incorporation of non-standard versions, insight into customers, device commissioning and integration, cutover, link upgrade, device replacement, elimination of potential network risks, and emergency plans and drills to ensure stable network operation. He/she should be able to handle major technical risks and issues in the product domain, manage all major delivery and maintenance operations in the product domain, review technical solutions, provide technical support, and ensure network security and quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and handle emergent faults related to the hardware and configuration of network devices.
- Formulation of routine inspection and periodic inspection rules & protocols for network devices.
- Install, configure, and manage network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, and microwave devices), and provide the periodic maintenance solutions for network devices.
- Summarize the problems and O&M methods in O&M, and form O&M manuals and knowledge bases.
- Review the changes related to the software and hardware of network products.
- Cooperate with other product engineers to locate cross-product problems.
- Network project like IPRAN IPCORE FIREWALL SWITCH etc. delivery.
- IP network maintenance, troubleshooting.
- Analyze the customer’s existing IP network, needs, and requirements to provide the necessary solution.
- Technical Presentations and Participation in Technical discussions with customers.
- IP network Planning, Performance Analysis and Optimization.
- Ensure seamless communication and data transfer within CCTV systems.
- Ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of the network infrastructure.
- Utilize tools such as Esight for comprehensive network monitoring and management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Good at IP network products like Router Switch Firewall, VPN and Microwave etc.
- Have more than 4 years’ experience in this field.
- Have a basic command of datacom/NCE products and tools
- Good troubleshooting skills, such that faults are promptly identified and rectified to meet the required SLAs.
- Knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS VPLS, VLAN) and data carrying techniques (MPLS) using both IPv4 and IPv6.
- Wide experience or knowledge of level 2 & Level routing & switching.
- The applicant should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills and be a very good team player.
- Applicant should be good at customer relationship, understanding their requirements. A good team player and able to work effectively.
- Capable of taking responsibility of leading the team in technical part and able to work with minimum supervision.
Education.
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer science or relevant field.
- Certificate in CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Juiper, Huawei Routing & Switching.
