Job Summary:   The Project Coordinator (PC) will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and oversight of the project across Kyegegwa and Kikuube districts. The role involves working with multiple partners, including PSFU, ThinkIT, local authorities, financial institutions, and community groups to ensure that all project activities are effectively planned, delivered, monitored, and reported.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Business Management, Education, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in any of the fields above is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or management in livelihoods, agribusiness, vocational training, or youth employment.
  • Proven experience working with refugees, youth, and women in rural or semi-rural settings.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural value chains, especially coffee and horticulture.
  • Familiarity with VSLAs, cooperative development, and financial inclusion programming.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder partnerships and engaging with both government and private sector actors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Knowledge of local languages is an asset.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and communities.
