About the Company:
Newrest Uganda Inflight Services is an industrial catering company specializing in the aviation sector (restaurants serving the airline and VIP flights and ground with signs Caffé Lindo, E-Café Sky Café), and in the rail, marine, communities (embassies, schools, private companies, hospitals), also associated services including aerial specialist managed services “in flight” (Inflight), the sales on board (Buy-on-board), the Off- taxes (duty free)) and remote support (remote sites).
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the hygiene rules of the company.
- Ensure instant and fluent communication between airline representatives and the unit.
- Communicate on time the daily flights schedule to all departments and keep all records in the archives
- Ensure entering all the flights with their services on the system.
- Ensure a permanent update of the flights on the system.
- Ensure cleanliness of the working area and refrigerators.
- Permanently control the hygiene records and ensure their accuracy.
- Instantly transmit any additional request or update.
- Control the quantity and the quality of the food on the final holding fridge.
- Ensure perfect billing, check, edit and print all the delivery notes, and finally transmit them to finance office for the agreed delays.
- Responsible for the collection of the cash payment of the adhoc flights and transmit the total amount to accounting on the agreed delays.
- Transmit to concerned services any communication received from airlines and ensure proper understanding.
- Ensure proper communication between instructions from the bond (excess equipment to send or special offload) and the flights supervisors.
- Communicate all complaints or comments from airlines to the service concerned and ensure a proper follow up.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience
- BUT, Bachelor’s degree, Bac+3
