Job Summary: Partunify is looking for a warm, welcoming, and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our client’s guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive first impression, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth flow of guests within the dining area. This role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Maintain an organized waitlist during busy hours.
- Communicate wait times and accommodate special requests when possible.
- Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Keep the reception area clean and presentable.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
- Uphold hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Additional training in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with reservation management systems is an added advantage.
