Job Summary: The CWTL Content Production Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development, refinement, and quality assurance of content for Can’t Wait to Learn (CWTL) games. This role ensures that all educational content aligns with curriculum requirements, meets high-quality standards, and is effectively integrated into game development processes. The Content Production Specialist will also coordinate with stakeholders, manage external consultants, and contribute to the continuous improvement of content production strategies.
Team:
The Content Production Specialist reports to the CWTL Programme Director, working closely with the CWTL team colleagues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: What you will do:
- Leads Content Production for CWTL Games
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability in coordinating the development of language and game content for Jordan.
- Ensure content aligns with the Ministry of Education’s curriculum in the target country.
- Oversee the quality of instructional videos, audio recordings, and text-based content to meet established standards.
- Ensure High-Quality Content is Approved by All Stakeholders
- Ensure all produced content meets CWTL’s high-quality standards.
- Coordinate and facilitate the timely approval of content by all relevant stakeholders, considering:
- Cultural appropriateness
- Educational alignment
- Language and grammar accuracy
- Improve and Enhance Content in Existing Games
- Lead efforts to refine and enhance content in currently available games.
- Identify and streamline content coordination processes within CWTL.
- Develop strategies to improve overall content production for CWTL.
- Evaluate content and game production workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency and enhancement.
- Represent the Content Perspective in Game Development Processes
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, educational specialists, and software developers to create content concepts for serious games that achieve targeted learning outcomes.
- Work with complex content management software to ensure content is delivered in the correct format.
- Manage External Consultants and Contracts for Writers, Artists, and Editors
- Serve as the programme focal point, coordinating work timelines and deliverables, resolving challenges, and addressing inquiries.
- Oversee and monitor progress and quality in collaboration with the response team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in content development in both text and visual form including reading book websites and films.
- Experience in project management of multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to coordinate and build enthusiastic remote teams
- Results-focused with an ability to work towards objectives and meet tight deadlines with an eye for detail.
- Affinity with and experience in technically focused programs. Understanding game development is an advantage
- Proven leadership and coordination skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
- Experience in recruiting team members, consultants and volunteers
- Strong communication skills including presentation preparation and delivery.
