Job Summary: The Company seeks to hire Business Development Supervisor to provide support in the development and management of Sales Initiatives
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the set monthly and quarterly revenue generation targets are achieved
- Follow up with clients to ensure outstanding credit is collected within the debtor collection period
- Ensuring that all deals are profitable by meeting the gross margins target
- Prepare quotes for the clients as per the client job requirements
- Manage the customer accounts and ensure the customer relationship is well managed
- Follow up on client feedback
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with the client.
- Prepare periodic reports on client account status
- Prepare and present the monthly departmental report in a timely manner
- Maintain and expand client data base within assigned territory
- Maintain a robust sales management pipeline and ensure the documentation of the entire customer journey
- Developing and maintaining departmental systems and procedure in line with the requirements of ISO 2015
- Qualify prospects and leads with the aim of confirming viable businesses
- Conducting individual training needs assessment
- Ensure adherence to the QMS system standards through compliance to QMS standards
- Ensure the monthly departmental report is shared by the 5th of every month
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Member of CIM / MSK
- Must be a Ugandan citizen
Experience
- Bachelor of Commerce – degree (marketing) and other related courses from a reputable university.
- 3+ experience in carrying out Business development related functions
Skills
- Team management
- People management skills
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
