Job Summary:  The Branch Operations Manager will report to the Branch Manager and will be based at any of Pride’s Branches. He/she will be responsible for overseeing and controlling general operations at the Branch by guiding, monitoring, controlling and planning for resources and confirming that all branch activities are carried out in line with Bank’s internal controls.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the growth and achievement of the branch deposits and non-credit income targets.
  • Hold relevant branch individuals accountable for the implementation of effective strategies to ensure compliance to all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures
  • Ensure 100% compliance to Branch Operations, policies and procedures.
  • Supervise cash operations within the branch while ensuring that the highest standard of customer service is delivered.
  • Monitor and manage the branches’ liquidity by maintaining up-to-date liquidity projection reports and replenishing the branch’s ATMs.
  • Manage the performance productivity and development of unit staff in line with set HR guidelines.
  • Manage the staff productivity and development of staff in line with set HR guidelines.
  • Developing and adherence to annual branch budgets.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • 4 years’   experience   of   Banking Operations.
  • Should possess 2 principal passes at A’ level and credits/pass in Mathematics and English at O’level.
  • Should have knowledge in banking operations and should not be more than 40 years of age.

All Internal staff should have at least good performance rating in the recent appraisal cycles.
