Job Title: Credit Officer (3 Vacancies)

Duty Station: Kayunga, Kamuli and Buwenge, Uganda
Reports to: Branch Manager.

GENPROF Microfinance is regulated by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA). GENPROF microfinance is increasingly growing into one of the leading financial institutions in Uganda. GENPROF microfinance is looking for highly motivated and competent individuals to fill the position of Credit Officer.
Job Summary: The Credit Officer will be responsible for maintaining and managing a healthy loan portfolio and an increased quality client base in the assigned areas of operation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and process loan applications.
- Collect loan repayment installments from clients.
- Manage client database system.
- Maintain an increased quality loan portfolio.
- Participate in marketing of GENPROF loan products and services.
- Write weekly reports and submit to the line manager
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of a diploma in any field with at least 2 years’ experience in sales or credit in the same or related filed.
- Must be between the age of 23-37 years.
- Good command of both spoken and written English. Fluency in Lusoga or Luganda is an added advantage.
- Demonstrable track record of high integrity, reliability, and dependable.
- Networking and influencing skills.
- Writing and reporting skills.
