Key Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Have knowledge and understanding of ISO-9001 quality system requirements and implementation.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the National instrument Code/NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent standards. Applicants holding CompEx certification/IECEx certification will be given priority consideration.
- The applicant should be comfortable with working at heights, e.g. utilizing ladders, AWP. There are no uncomfortable symptoms such as acrophobia.
- Communicate effectively with clients and any inspection team.
- Direct the installation and maintenance of instrument systems, components, equipment, cables.
- Maintain and improve industrial skills and techniques. Prepare the instrument Construction/Installation Plan, scheme, and procedures for CPF.
- Proficient in instrument Test and its complied standards, codes or international requirement.
- Prepare work reports, data and summary as required.
- Any other job as may be assigned by Department from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Automation Engineering or relative discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Instrument works, and the Central Processing Facility experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Office Software, CAD, Navisworks (preference).
- Fluently read, write and speak the English Language.
- CompEx certification/IECEx certification are preferred.
- Other Certifications will be a plus.
