Job Summary: Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Director to join our client’s dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies aimed at driving growth and expanding the company’s products or services in the local market, enhancing brand awareness, increasing market share and ensuring the
company’s sustained success in a highly competitive environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to analyze local dynamics, competitor activities and industry trends.
- Use insights to develop and implement marketing strategies and annual plans aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with headquarters to tailor and execute the global marketing strategy for local markets.
- Ensure Company brand positioning and promotional efforts are effectively managed to increase brand awareness, reputation and value.
- Lead market research initiatives, analyze customer needs, market data and provide actionable insights to inform Company strategic decision-making.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners to enhance loyalty and foster long-term business success.
- Build and manage local marketing networks, optimizing both online and offline channels to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the company’s products and services, including geophysical exploration, drilling, oilfield technology, ships and integration.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, ensuring professional growth and alignment of marketing activities with the company’s overall goals and operations.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities with performance indicators and regular reporting.
- Coordinate business operations for overseas projects, review contracts for market revenue and implement necessary risk control measures.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business management, petroleum engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of marketing experience within the oil and gas industry, with a total of 10+ years of professional experience. International markets experience is an added advantage .
- Accumulated experience in Upstream oil and gas operations .
- In-depth knowledge of the local oil and gas industry, market trends, competition, along with expertise in market analysis, planning, and execution.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with excellent communication skills, team coordination experience, and the ability to work across cultures.
- Proficiency in both the local language and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, adapt to changing market conditions, and resolve challenges efficiently.
