Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of the position holder’s:

Content Creation:

  • Assist in creating a content calendar and delivering internal communication content, including newsletters, emails, intranet updates, and presentations.

Communication Plans:

  • Collaborate with the Internal Communications Manager to develop and implement communication plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Channel Management:

  • Manage and update internal communication channels, ensuring content is engaging and accessible to all employees.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with various stakeholders including creative design agency and other departments, among others to ensure clear, consistent, and aligned communication across the organization.

Event Coordination:

  • Support the planning and execution of internal events, such as town halls, staff meetings, and employee engagement activities.

Feedback Mechanisms:

  • Administer the employee feedback channels to gather employee input and improve internal communication strategies.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal communication strategies, providing recommendations for improvement.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in internal communications and staff engagements, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in internal communications or a related field is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other communication tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across the organization
