Kampala Hospital is a privately-owned hospital that was established in 2007. Our mandate was and is to bring non-existent services to the countries that were often sought by many people who frequently moved abroad to seek quality medical care.
Job Summary: Kampala Hospital is seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in marketing, digital marketing, experiential marketing, public relations, communications, and business development to enhance the hospital’s brand visibility, patient engagement, and service growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support and plan marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, patient acquisition, and service uptake.
- Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including social media, website content, and email marketing.
- Plan and oversee experiential marketing initiatives, activations, and community engagement programs.
- Develop and maintain public relations efforts, ensuring positive brand positioning in the market.
- Collect, analyze, and collaborate with other departments to implement improvements based on feedback.
- Create compelling content for marketing materials, social media, and hospital publications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support business development initiatives and partnerships.
- Generate regular reports on team performance, customer satisfaction, and other relevant metrics.
- Organize and provide training sessions to enhance brand awareness and service delivery.
- Analyze market trends, patient feedback, and competitor strategies to refine marketing efforts.
- Ensure all marketing efforts comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare or service industries.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
- Experience in experiential marketing, event planning, and activations.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Ability to develop and execute business development initiatives.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
