Job Summary:   We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial and administrative processes, be proficient in accounting software, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. This role will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the Talent Foresight team.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting (70%)

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance. (Filing Tax Returns, PAYE and NSSF)

Administrative Support (15%)

  • Manage office supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for team members.
  • Maintain office records and files.
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.

Human Resources Support (15%)

  • Assist with onboarding new hires.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a finance or administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software e.g., QuickBooks online.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
