Job Summary: Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll lead our Finance team, collaborate with leadership, and engage with investors and the board. Key Duties and Responsibilities: As Finance Manager, you’ll be the financial heartbeat of EzyAgric, ensuring we stay agile, profitable, and ready to scale. Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead the Finance Team: Oversee budgeting, financial modelling, audits, tax compliance, and monthly management accounts to keep our finances rock-solid.
- Drive Strategy: Partner with the CEO and management to set short- and long-term financial goals, forecast key metrics, and optimize user growth, revenue, and profitability (think LTV/CAC ratios).
- Fuel Growth: Manage cash flow, investments, and assets to ensure we’ve always got the runway to operate and expand.
- Raise Funds: Work with leadership to craft fundraising materials (e.g., financial models), lead due diligence, negotiate deals, and secure equity, grants, or debt.
- Strengthen Governance: Support investor relations with timely reporting and uphold compliance (URA, NSSF, etc.) while advising on policies and risk management.
- Build Systems: Design lean, cost-effective financial processes—think accounting, payments, and reporting—that power our growth without slowing us down.
- Tell the Story: Turn numbers into insights with compelling reports for management, directors, and shareholders, guiding smart decisions.
- Inspire the Team: Supervise and mentor the Finance team, fostering their growth while contributing to company-wide problem-solving as a key management player.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
