Job Summary: The Retail Development Manager is responsible for the expansion of the organizations network and optimizing the existing stations. He / She will oversee all leases and develop a master plan.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a retail master plan.
- Secure tenure of existing sites, update lease records, ensure timely payments, and support site optimization.
- Identify new retail opportunities, optimize existing sites, manage rent reviews, and oversee divestment strategies.
- Maintain the development master plan, conduct site visits, monitor rebranding, and oversee lease renewals.
- Plan and track key retail development initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- BA in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Project C Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or a related filed.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail development or network expansion, preferably in the oil C gas or FMCG sectors.
Specific Skills
- Knowledge of legal frameworks related to leases, contracts, and land ownership will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas retail network and sales strategies.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel within all regions of the country and has a valid driving license.
