Job Title: Assistant HR Manager

Kiboko Enterprises Ltd is part of the Kiboko Group, the largest distribution house in Uganda with the leading brands in Fast Moving Consumer Goods like P&G, Tropicana, Himalaya and Fogg Deo & Sprays, Philips & Elekta in our domestic home appliances and lighting solutions division.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in the setting of KPIs for each department
- Conduct training courses to each department while cascading the KPIs for each function.
- Receive all functions KPIs in form of goal sheet and keep track of each individual performance monthly, quarterly and Bi-Annually.
- Participate in the rewards and recognition program for top performance
- Design Performance Improvement plans and development plans for average and lower performers and share progressive reports for each Learning & Development
- Collect annual appraisal forms for all staff and submit a report to respective HODs
- Capture learning gaps from the appraisals and come up with training needs for each function.
- Design a training calendar and ensure its implementation through the HODs
- Evaluate the success of each training done and submit a report to the Management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or social sciences with a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources.
- A certificate in administrative law is an added advantage.
- Candidate must be a member of the HRMAU (In case of HR Profession)
Required Skill Set
- Good Knowledge of HR Analytics – Performance Management process and execution, Learning and Development process and execution.
Relevant Industry
- Candidates must have exposure in working with private sector Organizations. Exposure in working with FMCG distribution companies is an added advantage.
- Public speaking: Fluent in English Language
- Computer literate: Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and ERP is an added advantage
Others:
- Experience. 3 to 5 years’ experience in handling performance management and training incorporate institutions.
- Experience. 3 to 5 Years’ Experience while working with Multinational distributor
- Companies in FMCG sector.
- Other Candidate Specifications Candidate must be willing to sit for long hours and with good computer skills
Compensation range Negotiable
