Job Summary: Operationalize the accounting function of the University
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep and maintain an up-to-date register of all bank accounts operated by the University;
- Process payments and receive revenue in accordance of all accounts operated by the University;
- Ensure revenue is always banked in line with the Financial Procedures Manual;
- Oversee student financial affairs;
- Plan, budget and ensure control of Stores;
- Perform any other related duty as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- MBA (Finance/ Accounting option), MSC. Finance and Accounting with full professional accounting Certificate from a recognizable institution;
- Honors degree in Commerce, Business Administration (Finance/Accounting), Finance or CPA (U) of ACCA;
- Must be a member of ICPAU
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a reputable organization
Skills/Competences
- Advanced IT and numeracy skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build productive relationship with senior management, employees and external stakeholders;
- A commitment to achieve the highest possible standards in the context of new developments in large organizations.
- Age: Below 55 years
