Job Summary: The Assistant Accountant will provide financial management support, ensuring compliance wren donor regulations and The Salvation Army’s financial policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports, budgets. and cash flow statements.
- Process payments, track expenses and ensure accurate financial records
- Assist with audits and financial reviews
- Support staff in budget management and grant compliance
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and maintaining records
- Manage office supplies, budgets and reimbursement as needed
- Montan the organization inventory and management of Stores
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Three (3) years of experience in accounting for donor-funded projects.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting
